Square Peg Design has now made two visits to Bhutan as part of our ongoing work on Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), bringing our team together on the ground with the client, design teams and local stakeholders to develop the city’s approach to signage, wayfinding and the public realm.

GMC is being conceived at an extraordinary scale, but our work begins at a very human one: How will people understand where they are? How will they find their way? And how can the experience of navigating the city feel distinctly rooted in Bhutan?

Thirty years ago today, Square Peg Design opened its doors in a small warehouse in Emeryville, California. Square Peg Design is playing a crucial role in the transformation of Dallas Fort Worth Airport by implementing a comprehensive Wayfinding solution for the new Terminal F.
