20 years of Global Design with Eric Wendt

We are thrilled to celebrate Eric Wendt, a Principal and Project Director at Square Peg Design with two decades of service and over 30 years of experience in environmental graphic design. A registered architect, Eric is a seasoned leader who brings a wealth of expertise to strategizing, designing, and directing complex signage and wayfinding projects.

Eric’s leadership at Square Peg Design has been invaluable, with projects across a range of sectors, including hospitality, leisure, education, corporate, and mixed-use developments. His work is seen not only in the United States but also throughout Asia and the Middle East, including notable projects like the Burj Khalifa in Dubai—the tallest building in the world—where he skillfully oversaw the design and implementation of a comprehensive signage and wayfinding program.

Known for his commitment to clarity and aesthetic harmony, Eric ensures that signage is both functional and beautifully integrated within its environment. His work on high-profile projects such as the Msheireb Downtown Doha development and the Waldorf Astoria Lusail in Qatar showcases his abilities. He continues to set an example in California, where he is based, with ongoing projects that highlight his talent and vision.
