Durango Station
Las Vegas, Nevada
The Durango Station Hotel and Casino resort in Las Vegas features an impressive 83,000-square-foot casino, a bright lobby with stone finishes, and a cozy bar area designed for relaxation. It also comforts guests with more than 200 rooms, embodying a Palm Springs Desert vibe throughout. The entertainment amenities are fitting of a Las Vegas atmosphere with the STN Sportsbook Bar and there are plenty of dining options with the Eat Your Heart Out food hall as well as restaurants with cuisine choices from around the world.
Square Peg Design was tasked to develop a comprehensive design package to complete the signage, wayfinding and environmental graphics for the site and interiors. The SQPEG team created a community space, blending the functional elements of the resort with a design that mimics its desert landscape. The food hall and F&B signage were playful aspects of the project, offering the designers a challenge and a bit of fun. The team was involved in the project early on, which was a rewarding experience to see the complete design of Durango Station from start to finish.
